About us

Airport Chauffeur Cars is a Melbourne chauffeur company, not a booking app with a call centre somewhere else. The same people answer the phone, dispatch the cars and hear about it when something goes wrong.

2010 the year we started

People were standing at Tullamarine at midnight with luggage and no car. I thought: this is not a hard problem to solve. You just have to actually turn up.

What we actually sell

Anyone can drive you from A to B. What people pay a chauffeur company for is not having to think about it — knowing the car is booked, the price will not move, the driver knows the terminal, and if the flight is three hours late somebody has already adjusted the pickup.

That is why we quote upfront, track every arriving flight, and keep dispatch staffed overnight instead of routing after-hours calls to voicemail.

On time, measured We log every pickup against its booked time.
Fixed before you pay Tolls, airport fees and GST are in the quote.
Vetted chauffeurs Accredited, insured and trained on presentation.
A human at 3am Dispatch is staffed every hour of the year.

What every chauffeur is expected to do

Driving is the easy part. These are the things we actually train and check.

  • Arrive before the passenger — at the pickup point ahead of the booked time, every time.
  • Know the terminal — which door, which level, where the name board is allowed.
  • Handle the luggage — without being asked, and without dropping the golf clubs.
  • Read the passenger — conversation if they want it, silence if they're working.
  • Present the car properly — detailed between jobs, water and charging cable stocked.
